The Ausiie Boots Australia story began in 1973 when the founder was born and raised in Queensland Australia. At the age of 15 she was introduced to the world of fashion by her parents. Melissa is the daughter of John and Gillian Armstrong proprietors of Glamour Plus Fashion's a woman's boutique located on the Gold Coast of Australia. By the time Melissa was 18 she had already experienced multiple boutique openings, merchandising stores and merchandise buying and business acquisitions.

By 1994 Melissa then traveled to the USA for a small adventure and managed to stop by a few different states like New York, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Las Vegas and of course LA. With fashion as her passion and in her blood, Melissa went in search of her dreams which lead her into one the largest shoe industries in the world. Over the next 9 years she would build strong relationships with major US shoe and accessory vendors and start GPF (Glamour Plus Fashion's) first private shoe label.

"After the sudden loss of my Dad", I really focused on keeping busy, Melissa says. She was eight months pregnant with her 3rd child and just knew it was going to be a tough time in her life. The decision would be to design and create her own line of ladies leather shoes naming the brand after her first born daughter.

With many challenges and a lot of competition within the woman's shoe industry, it was obvious to Melissa that she had to go back to her roots, so being a True Blue Aussie and knowing of the tremendous growth and trend in sheepskin boots Melissa had one thing in mind. To make the Uggly boots Glamorous!

Melissa founded and launched ABA (Ausiie Boots Australia) in August 2008 in the USA and Australia with an overwhelming response to her designs."Our company continues to grow each day, and we are always looking to do what others won't do".

It is evident that glamorous and fabulous sheepskin boots is ABA niche in the market place for women and childrens boots.
